In case you washing machine-less folk think it would be a good idea to save yourself one dollar by not going to the laundromat and wash a twin-size comforter in the bathtub, think again. Bad idea. Bad soaking wet bathroom idea. Bad wet through to the skin yourself and three of your kids idea. Bad slippery floor at the top of the stairs and all the way down to the dryer (which is in the corner of the basement) idea.

What happened to your washing machine? Some do-it-yourself projects just aren't worth the trouble!
Oh yeah, I hate to pay for the laundromat, and I hate to load everything in the car to get there, and unload, and load again...but sometimes it is so great to just take it all down there and get it done in two hours!
about the toilet poll - I said 8, but i let 'em (should I say make 'em) swish & swipe younger...just without chemicals. Even at 8, I try to handle all the cleaning products except 409, windex, & pledge.
You know that sounds like fun, maybe I'll try it...hee hee hee hee hee.
I'll certainly take note of that ... :)
Its good to know, but I don't know if I actually would have tried it anyway. Our washing machine is starting to act up. It is only eight years old, shouldn't we get more use out of it? It is not spinning all the water out anymore.
