Sensory activities for fun homeschooling

In our family, we learn well through lots of hands-on activities during our homeschool day.

Making letters and numbers in salt trays -- a fantastic idea I got from Laurie.

ABC patterns out of sugar cereal- for preschool thru first grade math concepts (a rare treat that all the kids are sure to join in)

Today many of us made letters and names out of homemade play-clay (a favorite recipe from Grandma W).
