Frugal Friday Yard Sales

Today I got this "Melissa & Doug" stacking train for $1 at a yard sale. This particular size sells for $15. My kids are so excited about it that they have been playing for an hour with it nicely.

I also found this princess bed at a yard sale. It sells for $399.99 brand new at Target. I paid $50 and got a toddler mattress with an allergy cover included. Does my little girl care that I didn't get it brand-new in plastic from a store? Not a bit. She is so excited and calls it "new" anyway.

Last big thing I found was a train table. But I can't find a picture for it. It was a good deal too. :)

So, my other Frugal Friday tip, shop yard sales.

Awesome! I'm addicted to 50% off days at Goodwill! I've been getting some great deals lately on name brand clothing for the kids. Who doesn't love brand new Gymboree for $2? I got myself a pair of pants the other day $3 and they still had tags and the spare buttons on them!!!

Fantastic yard sale shopping! I think the military base has the best yard sales anywhere though. I'll bet your little princess loves her new bed.
