We interrupt the regularly scheduled bloggy giveaways to bring you our anniversary.

It has been 9 years. I like nines. Numbers that are divisible by nine make me smile. And so, today I am smiling—because it has been nine years with my eternal companion. Nine years ago today I was sealed for time and all eternity in the Manti Temple in Manti, Utah.

There have been a few bumps and bruises along the way. Like the time when we were engaged and Danny hit me with the truck. And then a year later when I got him back and hit him with the car we so lovingly nicknamed “The Marshmallow.”

We’ve been through approximately 12 months of morning sickness, 35 hours of labor, 20, 000 diaper changes, one poop on the floor in the corner of my living room, eleventy-billion emergency room visits (mostly mine), 8 moves, 4 kids in 5 ½ years, 2 sleepless nights (haha! Just checking to see if you’re still reading), lots of potatoes—you know, potatoes that DON’T cost $20 for a 10 lb. bag, and two freezers.

And I'd go on and on about how wonderful my Danny is, but you'd all be jealous. So, I'm going to leave it there and go enjoy my anniversary.
