Did you see my sidebar today? I am so desperate for motivation to exercise that I added a feature. Every comment I get I will do
5 sit-ups 6 stomach crunches 5 lunges. When my stomach is flat again (HAHAHA!!) I may switch to push-ups. I can't do a single push-up by the way. Not a one. Will you help me?

I will help you, and maybe some of your motivation will be able to help me. I adore reading your blog each day and can't wait to see what else you've come up with for us. You're helpful hints are truly helpful. I do have a question about the mass chopping of onions, bagging them and freezing them. How do you keep your freezer from smelling like a "greasy spoon?" My husband was about to move outside for the week. HELP!!!

Two things that prevent a stinky freezer that I do are:
1. Place the individual bags of onions in a larger zippered freezer bag (or two).
2. Keep an open box of baking soda in there.
When your baking soda expires from being a deoderizer you can use it to scrub with. Don't cook with it after it's done being a deoderizer though. ick.
By the way, I purchased pre-chopped onions at our commissary. And when I used them, I was very disappointed in how many hard pieces there were. Never again. And of course they were more expensive than whole onions.
