When I wash the whites, I always hang dry (on a hanger) the white button-up church shirts for the boys. I started doing this so I could see if I missed any spots or stains which would’ve been baked on in the dryer. I realized that when I hang their shirts to dry, I don’t have to iron them because they don’t get tossed around and wrinkled. So now I hang up Danny’s church shirts too.

Hi Nikki. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I'm glad you liked my tip. I personally try to avoid button up shirts for The Boy -- I hate ironing! lol But in the event they can't be avoided, I'll definitely give this a shot.
Hi Nikki, it's funny that we both did no-ironing tips this morning. I guess we are all looking for more ways to be efficient.
Ironing is the WORST chore ever, in my book, so I am definitely going to try this. Thanks!!!
Having older boys and a husband, I have lots of white shirts to go with lots of other button down shirts. I will be trying this for sure, I always have loads of ironing! Yuck!
Wow - what a great tip! NOt that I iron more than once a month (and I only do C's shirts cause Troy does his own) but I'm going to try that so no one has to iron!
I hate ironing - thanks so much for the tip!
Great idea! Anything that lessens the ironing load is a blessing. Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting on my toy organization!
