First try at homemade gluten-free dairy-free bread

I made my first loaf of gluten-free and dairy-free bread today.  
It was gummier than gluten bread and I haven't tried toasting it. 
It was WAY more expensive to make than homemade whole-wheat bread.

My kids are begging me to make more.

I plan to try this same recipe again, but with my own ground gluten-free flours.

I'll also try it with almond flour instead of a blend of gluten-free flours.

And another variation I'm considering is adding more xanthum gum.
