Grateful for homeschooling around the holidays

When homeschooling my children, I don't have to worry about missing school for Thanksgiving break.

We sing songs on the road that cover states and capitals, continents, times tables, books in the Old Testament, New Testament, and Book of Mormon.

I know that we'll be doing fractions in the kitchen while making pies, and science too, and counting down watching the timer.

We divide how many olives among all the cousins (and Uncle Troy) and divide kitchen duty while the dishes multiply.

Homeschooling is always present.  And this I'm grateful for.
