Joseph wondered, "Am I supposed to look after Jesus without Mary? And what is with this wandering wiseman, turned shepherd, turned donkey? Where's his proper attire?"
And the angel, who used to be Mary but preferred the golden pipe-cleaner halo of angelhood, kissed the baby Jesus, who was eating the sheep, and Joseph felt blessed, even though he recently became a single father.
And Joseph looked on as baby Jesus enjoyed his first meal of sheep. And the angel saw that it was good and continued to look on, even with a slightly crooked halo.
After the wiseman offered his gift of "Mooly the Cow" unto the baby Jesus, he left the holy scene to become a super-hero turned tornado.

That was cute, Nikki!
Make sure you're writing all of these things down for your book that WILL be published one day. You might also add the photos to this story too--it would be good and wise.
Mom
They look so sweet in this Nativity presentation. Thank you for the new scriptural comments on what actually happened in the nativity. They look so great. Wow, Ham has grown alot since we last saw him. Love to all.
Adorable story and adorable pictures. :-)
I love the outfits, so perfect for them. I love the kissing the baby Jesus that must be my favorite. And that chunky Ham, he is so cute..he has gotten so big. I love the eventful Christmas Eve.
Love, love, love those kids!! They are adorable!
So fun! What a cute idea. I'm particularly impressed with Pookie's great strength in the last picture holding up Ham. :)
brings memories of days when our kids were the little shepherds, etc....this year our grandkids played the roles at our home...cutest was 3 year old "T" - as shepherd, he first walked in with his lamb bouncing in his arms, saying "Baaa, baaa". When the narrator read about the shepherds , he solemnly walked over to see baby Jesus, saying with each step: "Shep, shep, shep". Later , when his role was switched to a wiseman, he proudly carried his gift of gold (beads) to the Holy family...but the narrator read on as the little wiseman stood with the gift in his hands...when narration of nativity story was done, and "baby Jesus (doll), lay discarded on the couch, little "T" quietly walked past his grandma with the gift still in hand and said "This is a present for baby Jesus" - then he reverently placed the gift of gold beads by the baby doll - sweet.
Awwww, what a perfect Nativity scene/story! So cute.
sounds like a fun Nativity. :) Cute pics, too.
