Walking my way to a happier heart

This past November my doctor talked with me about exercise and weight loss to avoid diabetes and heart disease.  110 excess pounds is nothing to laugh at.  

So I've been keeping track of what I eat with My Fitness Pal's app for the past 66 days.  I've lost about 14 lbs so far.

But just in the last two weeks I've finally added the exercise in and I'm feeling it and loving it!
These cuties have become my walking buddies.  All the kids love to walk with me, but these two get their jackets so quick and are giddy to be my walking buddies.
They like to pick all the wildflowers they see along the way and stop to watch little birds hop about.
I love to see them walking hand in hand.  It does my heart good.
