This post brought to you by: The nooks and crannies of my brain.

Sometimes, like every four or five years, I think it would be a really good idea if my house went up in flames and I got out safely with my family, my quilts, and my photographs.  Then I wouldn't have to pack it all up when it's time to move.  I  could claim it with the fire insurance and start over with a more simplistic life and not EVER accrue the clutter.

I am also entertaining illusions of grandeur of living on a grassy knoll with a lovely little four bedroom home planted right in the middle and outback you can find a cow and half a dozen chickens.  We can rest under the shady oak tree that someone planted 50 years ago and homeschool my kids in the lovely breezy afternoon.

Or we could live in a mold-free home on the central west coast paying up the nose in rent.  But at least it will be mold-free.  hopefully.

Come live near me in the boonies. You can build a lovely home in the middle of a field and have chickens and animals. Troy's already dreaming of having a chicken hutch and fresh eggs once our house is built. hurry - I'll save you an acre or two. And there's not a smidgeon of mold at least in the homes we've lived in.

I don't know about the livestock... but I'd love a simple, secluded house on a grassy knoll.

Yay for mold-free, wherever you be!

Dang. I think the perfect house is just waiting right around the corner for you. But unfortunately someone else is in it...ha ha...ok that was supposed to be funny but maybe it wasn't.

I agree the fire would be great. I really don't like packing. That is why I plan on never moving. Good luck on your house hunt. I'm sure you will find some wonderful mold free home!

Ick, sorry about the house! That would be awful.

Thanks for your comment on my MMB post! For some reason I was so worried it would be taken the wrong way and everyone would want to throw rocks at my head!

Aren't they paying movers to pack for you? I know there is still alot to do. And please tell me you're moving either North or really close south, and not near the pen. Have you already found a place? I really wish I was there to help you out (I really just want to cuddle your babies). Good luck. I know it will be for best, but it is still such a pain! Is his tour 3 or 4 years? I hope you get lots of great help!
