Totally Random Post with some HTML fun

  1. I am practicing with blog alterations in HTML
  2. Now I have the letter B instead of numbers.
  3. Ooh. It works.
  4. It just keeps going!
  1. Now we're going for Roman Numerals.
  2. So far so good.
  3. Three's a crowd.
  4. Four
  5. and Five are nine
  • I have made a marvelous little circle here.
  • Can you make little circles?
    1. ooh. squares!
    2. and another square bullet
    3. Bullets look very important.
    4. Don't you think?
    • How about a link to, oh let's say the best photographer in the world, Erin, that opens in a separate window? That's the kicker folks. Opening in a separate page so you don't have to leave Pookieville or even have to do a fancy right click to get a separate page. Yes, I'm willing to do that for you my friends. You can thank me in small unmarked bills.
Now for a list of scrolling links. Let's just grab a few from The Ultimate Blogroll post. Deep breath here friends. We can do this.

    Smockity Frocks
    Fluffy Chicky
    Neighbor Jane Payne
    Mormon Mommy Wars
    Praying for Parker

    I did it!
Now I've neglected my children long enough. That's all for now.
Oh, go check out this site. That's where I learned this stuff. Notice how it opened a separate page? hehe.

    Updated note:
    Marcy,
I tried. I typed up a beautiful explanation and blogger wouldn't let me post it without closing the html tags. And then when I did, it automatically turned it into a link and then you couldn't see how to do it.
So you'll have to click here. Scroll down to the link list part.

Hi Nikki, any chance you could tell me how to open the link in a separate window without me wading through that other site (it kind of scares me when I get into techy sites)? I would love to be able to do that.

Wow! I'm going to spend a chunk of my day on that site as well. I didn't know how to do any of that stuff and I had considered myself pretty good at html. Guess not! I like the circle thing - I'm always doing my lists with asterisks and it bugs.

Thanks for the great tips! And also for the shout out in your recent post :)
