Three things to toot about

1. Today I ground 50+ cups of white wheat into flour, made 15 bread kits and baked three loaves of bread:
  • one for our family
  • one for the new neighbors across the street
  • and one for Michelle who I called last minute Saturday to ask her to bring the sacrament bread for church Sunday since I was sick. Of course she said "Yes" because she is so nice.

2. I prepared 10 cups of formula/rice with banana baby cereal with labels that say, "formula/bananas/rice cereal add 2 oz. water." Now when baby is screaming and I'm disoriented thinking, Hmm... what's wrong with him? Doesn't he like sitting in the high chair for hours on end? I'll see the cute little basket of prepared cereal and be prompted to feed him something solid. And it will be so easy since I'll just add a little water and stir it up and feed him.

3. I pulled the socks, underwear, small toys out from behind the chest freezer and even vacuumed!

I feel like a good mom today. What have you done recently to "toot your horn" about?

Ooh girl - you are a SUPER mama. How do you get it all done? My youngest just turned 3 - I don't think I can even comprehend baby food right now. He won't even let me cut up his meat for him anymore.

Just wish my 6 year old could get on the ball - him - I HAVE to cut up his food. lol - Happy Tuesday!

Hooray for you! I'm always inspired by your bread making adventures. Have you posted about your bread kits? I'd like to check that out!

I am interested to learn more about your bread kits! Can you pass the secret? Somedays we get so much done and others almost nothing. Altough I have found that if I make lists of the stuff I did on the days I feel like nothing was done - I realize how much I actually did!

Hmm, I love the smell of freshly-baked bread. Reminds me that I used to bake my own bread but have since gotten too busy. I'm going out later to the bakery to buy some before the kids get home today.
