Learn from me my friends.

Before you think about stepping up onto a dining chair with a baby in a backpack on your back, think about how idiotic it may sound to repeat to the nurses and doctor at the ER, and your husband's commander, and the person you have to ask last second to watch a couple of your kids, and your friends that found out through the grapevine, and your kids whom you've previously told not to EVER stand on dining chairs, how exactly you injured your leg.

Learn from me my friends. Do not try this at home.

Oh no! Are you ok? What exactly happened to your leg? Ok - so I AM concerned about your leg, but really, the first thing I thought of was, "The baby!!! What happened to the BABY!"

ummm...who gives a rats fat about you! What about my dear bambino? I hope that doesn't sound too harsh, but lets be honest, what really happened on that chair?

Oh Nikki, the things that happen to you! I hope your leg isn't too bad off, and I hope that the bambino is fine also. And I stand on the dining chairs all the time. I'm thinking I ought to get a step stool now.

I think little Ham was just pulling your hair too tightly from the backpack which caused you to temporarily have lost all sanity and your mind just went blank when you climbed up there.

I agree with Leslie's comment...and Erin's what happened to our Ham!! Are you ok? Broken? It is about that time to visit the ER isn't it?

all I can do is laugh...only because I've done almost the same thing.
Hope you and Ham are okay.

I am with you on the thinking first but I had to explain about my sprained hand that, "I was trying to give my husband a dead leg, you know, hit him real hard so his leg goes limp, and he blocked it and that side of my hand hit his bone or something."

I had people coming in to question me and see if we were in an abusive relationship. Do you need help? Were you defending yourself?

That is a huge think first moment. I was standing on a kitchen chair today painting the kitchen. Oh, well.
