A Deep Thought from the armpit of the frozen tundra I live on

When I wake up in the morning and switch the laundry, I oftentimes like to go over to the computer to see if the weather is “shockingly” cold. I get a certain level of entertainment out of it. Just like a child waiting to hear if there has been enough snowfall to cancel school, I hope one morning it will be so cold that the whole base will cancel work and appointments, and everything will be shut down because it will be so cold your lungs would freeze. Is negative 44 not cold enough? Maybe if it were negative 80. This is definitely a hot chocolate morning. Don’t ya think?

I'd say it calls for hot chocolate, a warm blanket, and a Bun to snuggle. And to think I was just complaining about how cold it is here! (I won't even say what temperature it is here, being plenty higher than in Minot)

maybe if it's a whole bath in hot chocolate! That is an insane temperature and I thought 24 (24 above that is) was yucky!

Okay, I have got to quit whining. Our weather isn't minus anything and I can't stand it! I promise to have a better attitude and every time I start to whine, I will remember you in your -44 degree weather. Keep warm!
